CZ's dog, Broccoli, at the mercy of crypto degenerates

Changpeng Zhao, former CEO of Binance, has revealed the name of his dog, Broccoli, launching a challenge to the BNB Chain community
CZ's latest move
As Changpeng Zhao himself revealed, the former CEO of Binance can’t keep away from cryptocurrencies. They were his life until Binance’s regulatory problems in the US last year, and that’s why he decided to stimulate the crypto community a little with his latest idea.
In the last few hours, CZ has revealed the name of his dog, a Belgian Malinois Shepherd called Broccoli, and he did so by trying to renew enthusiasm in the BNB Chain community, once a point of reference for the memecoin world before the growth of Solana.
He didn’t launch a memecoin linked to the dog in question, but hoped that the community would do so in the most “imaginative” way possible. The most deserving cases, according to CZ himself, may later be supported by the BNB Foundation and, perhaps, by Binance itself.
It will therefore leave the initiative up to the creators of memecoins, and then probably interact with some of them later, once their popularity has grown.
Broccoli’s Story
A year and a half ago, I casually chatted with a friend who owned a (real) zoo in Dubai. Curious, I asked what dog breed is adapted to the Dubai summer heat. I had no plans to get a dog.

The “Broccoli” operation
“I’m just posting my dog’s photo and name,” CZ said in a post on X. “I am NOT issuing a memecoin on my own: it is up to the community to do so (or not), but I will probably interact with some of the most popular coins on the BNB Chain”.
The role that the BNB Foundation will play is not clear, but it could offer various rewards (even just by supporting the LP) to the memecoins judged to be the best.
According to CZ, the only motivation behind the initiative is his “curiosity” in the process of creating a memecoin based on his dog, but the “Broccoli” operation also seems to be an attempt to revive a sector on a chain that was once at the forefront in terms of volumes.
