A new memecoin in town: GOAT in top100 thanks to Binance

GOAT rides on renewed community hype
In recent hours, the Goatse Maximus (GOAT) token touched $0.88, its new ATH. As a result, a new memeocin from the Solana ecosystem has entered the top100 cryptos by capitalization with a leg up .
Part of the credit, however, goes to Binance, able as usual to respond to the demand of the most “degen” investors by announcing the listing on the platform for futures products.
GOAT is also the first token left through Pump.Fun to achieve such a capitalization, and certifies how the “thirst” for memecoin is still alive among the crypto community, at a time when Bitcoin does not allow room for the volatility the sector had accustomed us to in the past.
Memecoin was born from the community of Truth Terminal, a popular AI chatbot on X, which prophesied a new religion based on that idol “Goatse Maximus.” It took only a short time later for a user to create the related memecoin.
“Its rapid growth has crowned GOAT as the best Pump.fun coin (by market capitalization),” reads the official Pump.fun X account. “It should inspire all other users, having shown what goals are possible to achieve.”

The new levers of the memecoin industry
The event was celebrated by the platform’s ceo himself, Alon, who seems to have taken revenge on those who did not believe a memecoin could be listed on the world’s first cex again.
In parallel, also benefiting from the event seems to be the rest of the “meme” sector. In terms of performance, among the best is that of Book of Meme (BOME), now with a capitalization of more than $1 billion.
Better than GOAT, among the memecoins launched in 2024, remain only Brett (BRETT), which dominates on L2 Base, and Dogs World (MEW) also on Solana.
