PumpSwap is now live
The first information was leaked last month, promptly commented on in a dedicated article when, on the information leak, the Ray token collapsed by -30% in 24 hours.
Today the announcement arrived and the farewell to Raydium became official. Pump.Fun launched its internal Dex AMM, called PumpSwap.

With the launch of this new Dex, with functionalities similar to Raydium v4 and Uniswap v2, Pump.Fun announced a series of new features. These include instant migration when a token completes the bonding curve (generally when it reaches a market cap of $69,000), elimination of the migration fee equal to 6 SOL, greater liquidity and, in the future, distribution of commissions to token creators.
According to the official announcement, PumpSwap was created to eliminate the complexity associated with the migration process to Raydium, reducing time and costs.
Details and current context
With the launch of this product, Pump.Fun aims to create a real incentive for the sector, after the collapse of Meme Coin led to a -94% decrease in trading volumes.
Currently, each swap transaction retains a commission of 0.25%, divided 75% for liquidity providers and 25% for the protocol. Among the objectives, there is also mention of a revenue share distributed to the creators of the tokens, although this process is not active from the start.
Not only Meme, in fact numerous tokens will be available on the new DEX from the start. Among these we find; TRX, cbBTC, APT, USDe, frxUSD, JUP, SCR, ZRO and many others.
The competition between the two protocols is heating up, after Raydium announced its Launchpad LaunchLab and in response, Pump.Fun formalized its new DEX.
