According to a post on Hyperliquid‘s X profile , the listing of $Trump and $Melania generated a record on trading volumes.

The dex of perpetuals number 1 on the market, recorded over $22 billion in trading volume in the previous 24 hours, marking an unprecedented milestone. The listing of the most popular memes of the moment related to the day of Trump‘s return to the White House, have marked RECORD numbers.

The introduction of 3x leverage trading on the two new Memes, pushed volumes to surpass even the previous record set on Sunday of $21 billion.

Numbers that, for the first time in history, allow perpetual DEXs to exceed 10 percent of volumes compared to centralized exchanges. A historic milestone for the development of DeFi.

Trump and Melania, is the FOMO over?

Has the meaningless FOMO recorded in the weekend before Trump’s inauguration come to an end after the long-awaited date?
