Trump brings Andrew Tate home: +87% for DADDY on Solana

The meme world still influenced by Trump
The memecoin DADDY recorded an +87% increase in a single day, a rather surprising boost for the “meme” sector at a complicated time for the crypto markets.
Once again Trump is involved, who with his latest move has revived the Solana ecosystem after directly engaging with the Romanian authorities for the return of Andrew Tate to the USA.
The influencer, who is also very famous in the crypto community, was arrested in 2022 in Romania on charges of several crimes, including money laundering, human trafficking and sexual harassment. He is still on trial in the country, but the Trump administration has allowed the travel restrictions on Andrew and his brother Tristan to be lifted.

It comes after the Donald Trump’s administration reportedly made multiple attempts to pressurise Romania to lift travel restrictions on Andrew and Tristan Tate.

The result? The DADDY memecoin went back up, with a capitalization that exceeded $40 million.
The token in question was launched last year as a counter-narrative to Iggy Azalea‘s MOTHER memecoin, and had been quite successful, surpassing the latter in terms of capitalization.
DADDY's rally
In early February, the Financial Times revealed that US officials had spoken to Romanian Foreign Minister Emil Hurezeanu, who later confirmed that the Tates had been discussed in talks.
Now, the Romanian authority for investigating organized crime (DIICOT) has suddenly lifted the travel ban, although emphasizing that the criminal proceedings against the Tate brothers will not be interrupted.
The Tate community celebrated the influencer’s semi-freedom, and the DADDY movement seems to be a direct consequence of this euphoria. It has a strange effect, however, to see how Trump’s moves (in this case he proved to be close to a character favorable to the president, and very useful in electoral terms) can influence even a drifting memecoin world so much.
