10 years of USDT: a documentary tells its story
Tether celebrated 10 years of its USDT token with the launch of a new documentary, announced in a tweet by CEO Paolo Ardoino.

In the tweet, Ardoino emphasized that Tether’s mission has always been clear: to put digital money in the pockets of all people, especially those living in countries with inaccessible banking systems or unstable economies.
USDT, the largest stablecoin pegged to the value of the dollar, with nearly $120 billion in reserves, has become an essential tool for millions of users around the world. The documentary shows Tether’s journey in achieving this goal, highlighting its impact on those without access to traditional banking services.
USDT and the role of arbitrage in crypto markets
One of the key aspects of USDT is its role in arbitrage between cryptocurrencyexchanges.
Before the emergence of Tether, it was difficult for users to take advantage of price differences between exchanges, this was because dollar transfers were subject to banking timelines.
USDT solved this problem, allowing money to be moved quickly between exchanges and keep prices stable. With stablecoins, users can transfer digital funds in seconds, also ensuring that cryptocurrency prices remain balanced between exchanges.
This has made Tether a key part of the crypto ecosystem and has thus improved efficiency in the markets.
